April McClain Delaney Releases Second Television Ad
Commercial Focuses on Protecting Kids From Big Tech
Frederick, MD – April McClain Delaney’s campaign has released its second ad, focusing on protecting kids online. The ad will run district wide and is the second in an advertising blitz that includes television, mail, and digital advertising. Prior to her run for congress, April worked as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Communications in President Biden’s Commerce Department to expand broadband access and digital equity and to address on-line harassment and abuse. She also spent 15 years in a leadership role at the non-profit Common Sense Media, where she became an expert on matters related to kids’ online safety and the impact of media on children’s health and well-being.
